Fort Collins to Left Hand Canyon

Another big road day for when the gravel is too wet but you need the volume. 108 miles, 5500 feet of climbing from Fort Collins to Boulder and up Left Hand.

The Stats:

  • Distance: 107 miles

  • Paved: 100%

  • Climbing: 5700 feet

Notes: The canyon can be quite chilly and has potential for ice in winter. Be aware! Consider an extra layer for the canyons/descending. We like the Eliel Gibraltar Vest as an easy option to through in a handelbar bag. Use “BikeSports10” to save 10%.

Refills: The Mountain Fountain in Hygiene makes for a perfect stop to refill on the way out and back. The Gold Hill Store would be another option very close to this route.

Tires: Road tires all day. We’re running the WTB Exposures in 30s on ENVE AR Wheels.
