Red Feather Loop

Not just any 47 mile loop, this one has 5400 feet of climbing, but it’s also so dang beautiful. There can be camping traffic in the summer, especially if you are riding on a Sunday when people are leaving. The store in Red Feather is a great place for a cream soda and a refill before climbing back out.

The Stats:

  • Distance: 48 miles

  • Paved: 5%

  • Climbing: 5400 feet

Notes: High mountain rides require a plan for weather that rolls in fast.

Refills: There is a general store in Red Feather.

Tires: There is some steep and gnarly shit. You’ll have more confidence and safety going bigger for this route…like a 42 WTB Resolute. ENVE G23s will also make this wicked fun.
