Poudre Trail, Great Western Trail, OAB FKT and back

OAB= Out and Back. FKT = Fastest (or funnest) Known time. Not a full out and back course but there is a bunch of solid segments to go for on the Great Western Trail with the longest, and arguably most coveted, being the full Great Western Trail out and back fastest known time.

What an amazing trail system we have! taking Poudre Trail to Windsor, then connecting to the Great Western Trail to Eaton Colorado. The way back to town is a bit quicker and mixes good riding roads and dirt roads to head back in on Vine rd.

• Paved: 50%

• Climbing: 900 feet

Notes: Plenty of resupply points in Timnath and Windsor. The Great Western Trail has a bunch of segments on it, including the coveted out and back full segment. Check where they start and end before attempting them.

Tires: The WTB Vulpine 36 for speed or Vulpine 40 for pleasure.
