Pennock Poudre Loop

Can you even believe you can access this much adventure from your front door!? A great adventure day from home. Get to Pennock Pass via Masonville and Buckhorn. Descend down into Pingree Park and then just keep on descending forever down Poudre until you get back home.

This route is a part of the 2023 FoCo Fondo Training Series (June Ride- Longer Option).

  • Paved: 60%

  • Climbing: 5800 feet

Refills: Water at Horsetooth Mountain Park, refuel at Masonville Mercantile, water at the Ranger Station 2/3 up Pennock, refuel at Mishawaka, refule at Ted’s Place (Poudre/287).

Tires: The WTB Vulpine 36 for speed or Vulpine 40 for pleasure.
