To Carr and Back

Zip through the Country Club area before blasting north nearly to Carr. Note that this area can be quite windy and most of your elevation is in the first half. Between the wind and rollers, it’s smart to try to stay with a group and not blow yourself up so you can roll with a group heading back home.

This route is a part of the 2024 FoCo Fondo Training Series (February Virtual Ride- Longer Option).

The Stats:

  • Distance: 68 miles

  • Paved: 50%

  • Climbing: 2800 feet

Notes: There are some sections that can be quite loose.

Refills: Nothing, but you could take a detour to Wellington if needed.

Tires: The WTB Vulpine 36 for speed or Vulpine 40 for pleasure.
