Rist Canyon to Masonville

Rist Canyon is a very popular and challenging climb. The top is actually higher than Estes Park! It’s not uncommon to do this as as an out-and-back too. If you want to loop it, it’s fast rolling down back to Masonville and then you just have a few short climbs to back home.

The Stats:

  • Distance: 44 miles

  • Climbing: 4600 feet

  • Category: Solid

Notes: Pack enough water to make it to Masonville.

Refills: Masonville Mercantile, Horsetooth Mountain Open Space

Tires: We like the WTB Exposure as a tubeless option.
