Poudre Canyon to Red Feather Lakes

Climb up the ever-steady Poudre Canyon before veering off in Rustic to climb up to Red Feather Lakes. From Red Feather Lakes, enjoy a fast rolling descent back to Livermore. A brief jaunt on the wide shoulder of 287 let’s you hit up Owl Canyon before jamming back to town.

**Distance:** 98 miles
**Climbing:** 5900 feet
**Category:** WTF

**Notes:** This route is most fun when avoiding big camping weekends as both the Poudre and Red Feather Lakes are popular areas for RV and trailer camping. Depending on the snow it can be a real treat in late fall as well!
**Refills:** Ted’s Place, the store in Rustic, Red Feather Lakes has a few options, and The Forks (has great coffee too!)
**Tires:** We like the WTB Exposure as a tubeless option.
